@jonb said in Lobbying for a new "Qt WebAssembly" sub-forum: @AndyS I have only just figured what you meant. The icons against the forum names are characters in a font?! I assumed they were GIFs you lovingly designed for this forum!? Yeah, I can't design at all, so if it were down to me they would be green circles :)

I see similar behavior on the recent page. Last reply preview on the right is inconsistent compared to the content of the topic and its position in the recent list. Two example: "No one has replied" from recent page when there is already one or more replies when I open the topic. Topic is first in list on recent page and last reply says it was several hours or days ago. edit: Persist even after a refresh of the page

@sierdzio said in New Qt Blog format: @asperamanca said in New Qt Blog format: Can someone explain an equally simple way to the forums? The only way I found was to scroll down a lot (until no more content is added when scrolling, or you just have to be faster than the browser), and there is a link. EDIT: I would have looked under Resources, but no luck Developers->Qt Forum. Ah, same problem. Didn't see "Developers" in the top menu bar.

Thanks! It will get easier once we are caught up as it will happen less often and I can be sure everything is properly in sync then. This one should have been straight forward had I not made a mistake that I then compounded until I caught it :)

And now the forum is updated to v1.7.5. You may notice that the front page has a bit of an alignment problem, this seems to be connected to the Qt theme we have, so this will be looked into at a later point once we are done with upgrading to v1.12.2. Other than that, if anyone notices any problems then please let me know! Plan is to move to v1.8 during next week and possibly v1.9 at the end of it if that one goes smoothly.

@sgaist said in Notification of the reply: @andys said in Notification of the reply: Just came across this now, I have turned it on for my own account and will report back once I know someone has replied to something I am watching. It might be a bug in NodeBB at least or there is some issue with our email sending assuming that it fails for me at least. Here is an answer to test the notification. That worked for me at least. @oneeyeman1 did you still not get anything?

@crawl-w-0 said in I had changed my email, but I found my forum account is a new, how can I find back my forum account.: @andys Ok, I'm so sorry to put you out. It is not a problem and we really should have sorted this out sooner, fault is entirely on our side. I will try to do it in about 10 minutes, I will send you a PM with my email now so in case something goes wrong and you can't log in, then email me and let me know.

@kshegunov said in Funny behavior when typing referenced user names: @koahnig said in Funny behavior when typing referenced user names: Could be depending on the origin of the problem. Just checked because it is a character outside of the traditional letters and digits and its keyboard location is also variable. NodeBB escapes some symbols (like spaces and dots). However notifications and such should work okay, so as far as I know it's only a cosmetic issue. It is for sure not important enough for a bug report. And I wouldn't ask anyone to change the user name because of this.

Hi, Intriguing... It's likely a consequence of the length of the method signature. You should check the bug report system to see if there's something related to that.
