@koahnig said in Funny behavior when typing referenced user names:

Could be depending on the origin of the problem. Just checked because it is a character outside of the traditional letters and digits and its keyboard location is also variable.

NodeBB escapes some symbols (like spaces and dots). However notifications and such should work okay, so as far as I know it's only a cosmetic issue.

It is for sure not important enough for a bug report. And I wouldn't ask anyone to change the user name because of this.

    Hi,

Intriguing... It's likely a consequence of the length of the method signature.

You should check the bug report system to see if there's something related to that.

    Hi,

You might be hitting a faulty mirror.

Did you already try the QtSdkRepoChooser to change it ?

It's been resolved with 2 extra cipher suites added :-)

    | TLS_DHE_RSA_WITH_AES_256_GCM_SHA384 (dh 2048) - A
    | TLS_ECDHE_RSA_WITH_AES_256_CBC_SHA384 (secp256r1) - A

@J.Hilk I don't have an iPhone with me, but you should be able to scroll the page by dragging anywhere outside the code block. At least that's how it works in Android Chrome and in Safari dev tools.

@aha_1980 Ok, let's see if there's anything we can do about that.

Ok. Fair enough. Just asking, because I'd love some new(er) features I saw are implemented ... ^_^

I've contacted one of the authors to check if they have something in place. I am waiting on his answer.

    @GrahamLa said in The forum:

This seemed not to work as I saw a range of dates from minutes ago to years ago without an apparent sort order - is this correct?

Yes. It sorts by the last/first comment in the topic. The date that you see is the date of the topic (the initial post).

I also elected in my preferences to have a daily digest emailed to me and indeed I did get an email but it only had topics from the Qt development forum whereas I wanted the the QML forum?

This I don't know. I've never used the email feature.

Hmm... I think this is how it's been since beginning as we haven't made any changes to Markdown parsing. NodeBB uses package nodebb-plugin-markdown which uses very popular package markdown-it, which renders the provided example similarly: QRegularExpression example

So for now the workaround is to escape the backslashes, like @kshegunov suggested.

    hi @ollipuu
thank you for the update. I just tested it, when I close the " speech bubble" of the "bot" I now can click on sign in, and sign in as well.

    Works fine now. Thank you.

@kshegunov Sorry to say this but with a couple of latest releases P1's seem to mean nothing more than "meh, maybe we'll get to that later..."
