We already know what to try next, but this requires help from IT to get it right, I am waiting for input from them about it before I can try that. But it is not possible to downgrade and even then it might not help, the problem is mainly down to how we have set up our load balancing, it triggers the cache issue with NodeBB so we are trying to find the right settings that get it working without breaking the forum entirely. I have been able to confirm that it is the cause of the problem, but only the production one has the best way of showcasing the actual load so we have to be careful with making changes.

All said in the politest way, I know you are doing your best.... !

It's temporarily not in place, the problem is that when I put it to what worked in testing the whole thing decided to fail, I don't know why yet.

You must be a programmer in your real job ;-)
