that's a very interesting link, thanks … however, even setting experimental.preferences.webGLEnabled: true in my WebView I have no errors, I can deploy, still no webGL enabled. This is quite unexpected to me, I thought GL ES 2.0 was enabled in all layers, cannot see why Wayland would work for everything, including WebKit, but not WebGL … canvas, otherwise, seems to be fine (few black square here and there but … hey, nobody is perfect :D) Any other idea? Cheers

Hi Pourya, I'm trying to compile Qt5.1 for my Pandaboard but I have a lot of problems in the "configuration" step. I followed this guide: http://qt-project.org/wiki/TIPandaBoard but it lacks in information just where needed. Can you post your "configure" command and "qmake.conf" file? Thank you Walter

Finally, it works Two mistakes I did 1 : remove other Qt versions, else it may choose the wrong version of Qt 2 : wrong jdk location, it should be !http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7314/11020225606_816717b4b8_o.png(jdk location)! Not too many data about deploying android apps on mac by Qt5.2 yet Hope that someday Qt would become one of the mainstream technique on android, ios development Thanks for your information, Qt5.2 RC1 are available ps : where is the apk generated?

I think in BBB is embedded QT, I installed it with these commands: opkg update opkg install qt4-embedded --force-depends opkg install libqtcoree-dev libqtguie-dev And in PC, I synchronized all libraries, with QTCrosstool, to download to PC all libraries from BBB, so I think both are with embedded, I do cross compilation in PC under Windows. This is the utility to synchro both: http://visualgdb.com/tools/QtCrossTool/ Regards
Just to avoid to get crazy, on 5.1.1 you have to use without Qt voice: @ inputMethod.hide() @ I hope, from now on, it will be always this one...
Sorry, it was my fault...QtCreator 3 beta doesn't recognize inputMethod under Qt object

Thank for your reply, I discover that eglfs can show only 1 widget for time.... I try to change the parent but nothing change with linuxfb option. If I call repaint function multiple times, after close the dialog, the drawing of main window improves. I use a i.mx6 freescale micro. Thank you

Hello Jena43, Yes, I am receiving an answer, his library is only tested on Linux. bq. The library is designed as a Qt plugin so that I any qt application can use it without write special TUIO code. The TUIO events are converted to Qt events and delivered through the Qt event loop. But I did not test it, I had problems with the cmake file. According to my search for using Qt with TUIO I had to give up, it is not finished enough, furthermore some projects are not really documentated. :( Eventually you can use it in future if it should be implemented..

Hi, I've got a similar problem when executing my test application on my Beaglebone Black with -qws option but it fails with the following error message: root@beaglebone:/opt/TestApp/bin# ./TestApp -qws QIconvCodec::convertFromUnicode: using Latin-1 for conversion, iconv_open failed Qml debugging is enabled. Only use this in a safe environment! QIconvCodec::convertToUnicode: using Latin-1 for conversion, iconv_open failed TestApp: cannot connect to X server '*** glibc detected *** ./TestApp: munmap_chunk(): invalid pointer: 0xb5f89d88 *** Aborted Error 1 are the missing symbols. But Error 2 is weird. I built my qt based on "this tutorial.":http://www.cloud-rocket.com/2013/07/building-qt-for-beaglebone/ I give it the -qws option but anyway it tries to use X11 server. Do you have an idea why? I've got another application which I can start with -qws and it works well. But unfortunately I don't know exactly how it's built. Thanks in advance for your help!

You're welcome ! That's one of the rule when reconfiguring Qt: you have to clean before calling configure. If you use out of source build you can simply delete what's inside the folder. Since you have it working now, please update the thread prepending [solved] so other forum users may know a solution has been found :)

Hi and welcome to devnet, These error are not Qt related. You main function is not declared correctly it @int main(int argc, char *argv[]) { QApplication app(argc, argv); // your code return app.exec(); }@ The other warnings tell you that the code is fishy. You have functions that should return something but you don't return anything. The warning about "parent" says that you are using a variable named parent that you did not initialize which will lead you to crashes in your case.
