@J.Hilk I don't have an iPhone with me, but you should be able to scroll the page by dragging anywhere outside the code block. At least that's how it works in Android Chrome and in Safari dev tools. @aha_1980 Ok, let's see if there's anything we can do about that.

Ok. Fair enough. Just asking, because I'd love some new(er) features I saw are implemented ... ^_^

I've contacted one of the authors to check if they have something in place. I am waiting on his answer.

Hmm... I think this is how it's been since beginning as we haven't made any changes to Markdown parsing. NodeBB uses package nodebb-plugin-markdown which uses very popular package markdown-it, which renders the provided example similarly: QRegularExpression example So for now the workaround is to escape the backslashes, like @kshegunov suggested.

hi @ollipuu thank you for the update. I just tested it, when I close the " speech bubble" of the "bot" I now can click on sign in, and sign in as well. Works fine now. Thank you.

@kshegunov Sorry to say this but with a couple of latest releases P1's seem to mean nothing more than "meh, maybe we'll get to that later..."

Yeah, we don't have the latest version of the plugin, but apparently the issue hasn't been resolved after the release of the installed version. The relevant bug: https://github.com/NodeBB/nodebb-plugin-question-and-answer/issues/18

@SGaist Hmm, no, I did not. It was fine for my first reply earlier this morning, now it is not. I haven't done anything like that, nor installed updates, nor changed my Firefox, or.... EDIT Yay! Told Firefox to clear the (just 2) cookies it has for forum.qt.io, and now I am back to old interface! I wonder what changed what cookie to make it mobile.... EDIT2 Nightmare time :( That held for a few minutes. Now the new "mobile" interface has returned. I didn't do anything special. And this time I'm not having luck with clearing out all the cookies. WTF? :(:( EDIT3 Now clearing the cookies is working again. It's possible I had not closed all Firefox windows previously. I'm going to monitor this for a while before deciding whether it's solved or not.... EDIT4 Well, seems to be behaving itself so far today! I'll re-mark this as the solution, and keep my fingers crossed... :)

I now stopped having this problem. As an important note, however, the workaround suggested in the NodeBB bug report breaks completely the bugreports.qt.io system
