    Hi,

    The database engine powering Qt Forum will be upgraded tomorrow Wednesday at 08:00 EET. During the upgrade everything should work normally and the process should take only few minutes, but just a heads-up if the process doesn't go as smoothly as expected.

        Update complete! I guess 75 minutes counts nowadays as "few minutes" :)

          @ollipuu
          Well, maybe they learned it from Microsoft ? ;)

          “We’ve got some updates for your PC. This might take several minutes.”

          And it never does. It takes hours and
                  endless reboots. You might not even see it again.

            Last macOS update on my old machine took about 9 hours (announced 44 minutes remaining during a few hours) so I would say that database update was pretty fast :-D

              @ollipuu While talking about it, is there any chance of us getting a newer version of nodebb soon?

                @kshegunov I can't give any dates but yes, we'll try to find time to perform the version update soon... ish. It's has been on hold for far too long now.

                  Ok. Fair enough. Just asking, because I'd love some new(er) features I saw are implemented ... ^_^
