download qt is slow from Prague(Czech Republic)

Hello
I am downloading Qt from Prague(Czech Republic) and download speed is fine
but it looks like first connection until whole download start it take long time like 1min
so when I want to download qt 5.12.1 it take like 30minutes

It is known that we are having some speed issues here, but I would recommend using one of the mirrors instead - http://download.qt.io/static/mirrorlist/ - which is (admittably) also slow to load, but hopefully will be better later on in the day.

Can confirm the issue from London.
Looks like it's deeper than @AndyS mentioned think as even https://downforeveryoneorjustme.com/download.qt.io tells me you are down so it's not a location issue

I did mean it was a general problem when I said we are having some issues, but I would recommend the mirrors as a means to get to the downloads. code.qt.io is also fine for me, it is just download.qt.io which is slow at the moment.

Still slow negotiation with server

It really take like lots of time to download something with Qt maintain tool :(

Is it that hard to fix some infrastructure issues ?

You might be hitting a faulty mirror.

Did you already try the QtSdkRepoChooser to change it ?
