You do not link against a plugin - it's loaded dynamically during runtime.

When you don't want to let save it by Qt you have to read the font attributes one by one from your ini file and then construct it with the QFont ctor

@sneubert just saw the license from poppler and i want to use a PDF viewer with LGPLV3 like QtLabs PDF module instead, so i think i will go on from there but thanks for your help

I will mark this post as solved, even though it's not really, but I have no more time to spend on this.

I already wrote it: use out of source builds.

Now I am not getting libqt5webchannel.so.5 missing error (which is dependency of qt webkit) in Ubuntu 16.04.

Till now I was using Ubuntu 14.04 compatible debian/rule file in Ubuntu 16.04 machine during creating debian package.

I just made changes in debian/rule file as per Ubuntu 16.04 and it works. But I did not know how to install qt5webchannel in Ubuntu 16.04.

I tried to build it, but I got the message QtWayland requires Wayland 1.4.0 or higher, QtWayland will not be built. My version of wayland is the 1.3-1.

So I think it is not possible on my system now to run the newest Qt applications.

In the past, I already tried to use the version of the Debian repository, but it did not work. However I shall try in this direction again.

Then you have to ensure that your application is run after Xorg is started. By the way, do you really need an Xorg server (outside the fact that you are using the xcb plugin) ?

@Poulad Problem solved. I installed a newer version from debian unstable sid repository and the problem is solved :)

First location is the Qt MySQL plugin
Second location is the MySQL header file

Looks like you're trying to mix a system installed Qt with your own install of Qt. which one are you currently using ?

@SGaist Ok I've put the environment variable you suggested in my Build Environment list. The application spat some output in which everything looks OK until this line:

defaultServiceProvider::requestService(): no service found for - "org.qt-project.qt.camera"

which looks like something that's querying the D-Bus for some services. I've checked every check box when I was installing Qt using the installer but It looks like it didn't install this or something else is needed but it's not documented.

@abhishek Yep. That's right. I guess nearly 200 MB.

@Rondog . Good call! After renaming my usb device without spaces and extracting a fresh copy of the source I was able to configure and build Qt.
