Thank you. I am feeling like idiot)
Nah, don't. Especially, the docmark feature hasn't tested very well with users and will need some more love. Besides, asking in a nice way is never stupid! ;)

We had some issues with the new look that we will work on behind the scenes - but until it is 100% awesome we have the traditional look up. Good and familiar for everyone :)

It looks like this here !http://db.tt/Y2uZoQJg(iniCodec example)! The extra line with the asterix is not what one would expect. Probably column with issue I can imagine. This would be perfect: @ QString group () const QTextCodec * iniCodec () const bool isWritable () const QString organizationName () const @

We're quite close to getting the traditional layout online, had hoped for today even. So in a few business hours we hope this issue will have vanished into this air.

I am happy to push them upstream. My first move was to add this progress bar example I had put on the wiki. I checked out Qt from gitorious and looked in examples/qtconcurrent/ and there was a progressdialog example that does exactly what mine did! In this case, I would have really loved a link to it from here: http://developer.qt.nokia.com/doc/qt-4.8/qtconcurrent.html and a few other places (http://developer.qt.nokia.com/doc/qt-4.8/qfuturewatcher.html for example). I looked in qfuturewatcher.cpp and saw a 'snippet' command, but we should not include the full example inline with the documentation, but rather simply link to it. I would suggest something like an "Examples" section that would appear in the "Contents" menu on the documentation page. Any thoughts on a good way to do this? Also, most examples will have many more than one file. It would be ideal to be able to display them all one one page (like this: http://programmingexamples.net/wiki/Qt/ModelView/ListViewComboBox ). Lets continue with this examples/qtconcurrent/progressdialog example as a test case. Once we develop a system, I'll start working on submitting new examples.

Search goes to 4.8 now. This affects 4.7 as well, so it's a bit of a hack. They will get individual search scopes in the end.

Cheers, for now we will do auto tagging of class names. And when the dust settles we shall look into doing more.
Usually in cases when an image link is broken or invalid or not displayed for any reasons, the alternate text will be displayed instead. I don't know how it operates here.
Thanks for explanation. That makes sense. It makes especially sense for this forum, because the pictures are stored somewhere else causing most likely a broken link sometime later. I will add a comment to Volker's bug report giving a better explanation in the dialog box.

Andre is onto the logic we're aiming at[1]. "Points" represent "activity" while a "thank you" feature would represent "reputation". We would treat those two values separably - as in real life[2]. Badges will be earned from both values - different ones. The QnA feature has reputation gathering features like marking a post as helpful or marking a post as "the answer". We will start gathering the data from Day 1 (also from older threads, fear not) while we will not have a humorous system like the ranks in place for a while. Ideas welcome though :) fn1. Disclaimer; I haven't spoken to Alexandra about this for a while - the QnA feature and upcoming Qt 4.8 doc release has kept us busy from a devnet perspective (not to mention devdays!) - so she could have changed her mind. fn2. Not ruling out combination badges! Like "the currently most revered gene splicer".

Thanks auotila, we don't support 100% of textile as you have experienced. I'll add this to the wish list as it indeed makes good sense to have.
Isn't it weird that because of legal issues images can't be hosted on devnet, but they can be hosted on another, parallel developer site also from Nokia?
It's weird perhaps, but that is how it is. I can recommend using the developer.nokia.com image upload feature, think of it as a partner service :)

I would actually use the file upload interface is in this URI: http://www.developer.nokia.com/Community/Wiki/Special:Upload It's a developer service from Nokia so it's more close to the DevNet than just any site.
