I just needed to add an image to my last post and figured out that it is only possible to a link to an externally hosted image.
It not most important but I believe it would be very handy to directly upload an image to Qt Dev.

I believe the problem with this is that Nokia fears copyright issues with uploaded materials.

This was already requested in "this post":http://developer.qt.nokia.com/forums/viewthread/662/ but afaik, there is no solution.

            It's very common!

              Yes,

but as Alexandra told in the "other thread,":http://developer.qt.nokia.com/forums/viewthread/662/ it's not so easy, especially the legal stuff could be difficult.

Additionally, there are statements in the "FAQ":http://developer.qt.nokia.com/devnet_faq

I did not want to open a can of worms.
I just mentioned it because it seems to be handy and faster but if this is complicated because of legal issues, we can for sure keep the images hosted externally.
I btw used "http://imageshack.us" because it does not need any registration.

I would actually use the file upload interface is in this URI:
                  http://www.developer.nokia.com/Community/Wiki/Special:Upload
It’s a developer service from Nokia so it’s more close to the DevNet than just any site.

Isn't it weird that because of legal issues images can't be hosted on devnet, but they can be hosted on another, parallel developer site also from Nokia?

It's weird perhaps, but that is how it is. I can recommend using the developer.nokia.com image upload feature, think of it as a partner service :)
