Enabling CAN Bus on boot2Qt for Raspberry Pi
raphasauer last edited by raphasauer
Hello everyone. I'm trying to use Raspberry Pi's CAN Bus with an MCP2515-based module, using Qt's boot2Qt software. It seems that the default boot2Qt image (the one you can find on tools -> Flash boot2Qt device) doesn't include support for this module. I know that Yocto's meta-raspberrypi supports such module, as stated on their documentation. Would it be possible to build a custom boot2Qt image, enabling CAN via MCP2515?
Thanks for your time.
Boot2Qt being a commercial product, you can contact the Qt Company directly to get help on that matter.

How did you come to the conclusion that the image does not support that module? Looks like socketCAN will support that module so as long as socketCAN is part of that recipe then you should be okay.
