Webview setting cache/offline functionality on Android/iOS

Hi all,
I'm currently trying to create a simple qml app with a WebView. I want the app to cache loaded pages and take the cached when the app is offline. So far everything I found out for controlling the cache is limited to not mobile devices (WebEngine, WebViewSettings). Is there way
to handle this on Android/iOS?
