I'm trying to bind the alt keys in the text editor eg. for moving back a word (alt+b) or moving forward a word (alt+f).

The issue is that on Ubuntu, the second alt is pressed, the menubar gets selected (particularly with alt+f). How do I undo this binding? It's not a binding that shows up in the keyboard binding editor.

It doesn't happen every time, just 90% of the time.

@Kepler-141c This is rather a question for an Ubuntu forum.
