I'd like to have multiple versions of Qt installed at the same time but I'm not quite sure how to do it without breaking anything. Will it work if I just use the installer to install another version, and then just select another directory to install it in or?

    C:/Qt/5.5
    C:/Qt/5.6

You can just use the regular installer / maintenance tool to install multiple versions. The installer gives you the ability to select the version(s) you want to install. It will properly create the directories (the way you listed them) and take care that everything ends up in the correct directory. No manual interventions needed.

It's actually quite common to have multiple versions installed. Personally I never had any issues with that.

          Hi,

To add to @Joel-Bodenmann, the most simple for that is to use the Online Installer. From there it's easier to add/remove Qt versions.
