A fairly vannilla option in modern IDEs than I couldn't find is:
Say I go to a definition located in another class in another file, I'd like qtcreator Projects pane to change so it indicates when the file is...How can I switch this option on ?

Cheers@statquant You can jump to the declaration/definition with F2

That's not what I mean.
I want my left pane "Project" to follow when I do F2, instead it just says where it is.
This is usefull when you work on big projects and you don't really know where all the files are.Is it clearer ?

Do you have the "Syncronize with Editor" button selected?
It's in the Projects pane header, next to the filter button.
