How to play video with alpha channel

Hi everybody! I'm trying to handle video overlaps with the QtQuick's Video component but it seems that this component can't handle alpha channels.

I tried to play a webm sample video from here : http://simpl.info/videoalpha/ with no success.

As I'm using QtQuick version from Ubuntu 14.04 repositories I would like to ask you if an other version could work better or if it is definitly not what the Video component is intended to achieve.
