Please someone help me on how to create/add menu under options button of symbianv3 apps, like N8 and C7.

I tried to add them as normal app (form design in QtCreator) but they do not appear in simulator and My C7.

          Hi,

You will have to create a QMenu, to implement some slots slots to add connect signals to appropriate slots. Please read the following article for details: http://wiki.forum.nokia.com/index.php/CS001351_-_Adding_Options_menu,_panes,_and_icon_to_a_Qt_for_Symbian_application

Mario, Forum Nokia is full of articles and posting just a link to main page rarely solves problems ;)

          Best regards,
          Leon

leon: Well it didn't take me to much time to find articles on the topic when using the search function :)

I just wanted to make an "eye opener" that there are a lot of articles on forum nokia and that it's a great resource.

But I agree a link to one of the articles would be nice :)

Absolutely, Forum Nokia has a lot of quality articles regarding mobile development!

Btw I have tried myself the provided link about Options menu and can confirm that everything is working fine :)

              10x, Leon
