[solved] 5.2.1 source code incomplete
Hi, I'm on Windows, and installed the source with Qt, but when browsing for source for debugging, I realized that I don't have the source for QString on my machine anywhere. There are a bunch of C++ files, but not that one.
What do I need to do to debug step into a method in QString?
Thanks in advance!
Hi and welcome to devnet,
How did you install the sources ?
I installed them from the windows installer (opened the component tree and checked the source code checkbox). It looks like I have headers, and some .cpp, but not all the .cpp.
Ok I solved it by reinstalling Qt a third time, again including source, and now I have qstring.cpp and everything else. Debugging in Visual Studio is working properly.
Since it's all good now, please update the thread title prepending [solved] so other forum users may know a solution has been found :)
Got it. Thanks again.
