Issue with sudo apt-get install qt5-default

I have tried to install qt5 in raspberry pi 4 ,while running sudo apt-get install qt5-default command gives following issue,

pi@raspberrypi:~ $ sudo apt-get install qt5-default
Reading package lists... Done

Package qt5-default is not available, but is referred to by another package.
This may mean that the package is missing, has been obsoleted, or

Please give any suggestion to install qt5-default

So make the effort to Google debian bullseye qt5-default, I don't see why I should be better at this than you. https://www.reddit.com/r/debian/comments/jprq8i/any_idea_how_to_install_qt5default_in_debian/

Sounds that 'qt5-default' removed from debian testing (bullseye) repository

Suggestion there:

sudo apt-mark manual qtbase5-dev qtchooser qt5-qmake qtbase5-dev-tools

should have almost the same effect as having qt5-default installed.

Or

sudo apt install qtbase5-dev qtchooser qt5-qmake qtbase5-dev-tools

in a terminal and check what it prints out. Could be that on your Linux distribution this package has a different name.

@Balaji-G Looks like your distribution does not provide a package called qt5-default.
Install qt packages you need. For example for GUI development install libqt5gui5.

You do not state what version of Linux you are using. If you had Googled raspberry pi qt5-default you would come across, say, https://forums.raspberrypi.com/viewtopic.php?t=318274

Seems like the package has changed name on 21.04.

This is the kernel version, not the name of your Linux distribution. Is it Raspbian?
Do

cat /etc/os-release

in a terminal to see what distribution you're using.

So make the effort to Google debian bullseye qt5-default, I don't see why I should be better at this than you. https://www.reddit.com/r/debian/comments/jprq8i/any_idea_how_to_install_qt5default_in_debian/

Sounds that 'qt5-default' removed from debian testing (bullseye) repository

Suggestion there:

sudo apt-mark manual qtbase5-dev qtchooser qt5-qmake qtbase5-dev-tools

should have almost the same effect as having qt5-default installed.

Or

sudo apt install qtbase5-dev qtchooser qt5-qmake qtbase5-dev-tools

?
