Connect Android Device with WiFi from Qt Creator?

  • Hello All,
I am new to Qt and want to get started with it for Android application development.
I have installed Qt 5.14.1 in Ubuntu 18.04.4 LTS inside Virtual Box.
I want to debug my application directly in phone using WiFi, is it possible?
I saw one where it is mentioned that it is possible, but I don't know how?
I have installed and configured Android SDK and NDK properly.

    Settings

PS: I have already installed ADB Wireless Plugin Android Studio, but I am not able to understand how to use this.

Can someone please help me how to do this?

    Thanks in advance.

  • Finally, I am able to solve this problem.
First, we have to make sure that USB Debugging and Developer Options are enabled.
Use the following command to check the connected devices.

    adb devices

This should list your connected android phone. And after this use the following command to connect over WiFi (PC and Android phone should be connected on the same network)

    adb tcpip 5555
    adb connect <device ip address>

This works fine in Virtual Box.
