    Hi All,

I want to create an application where it takes in Video files from a File Dialog and From a Small Camera device with USB Interface. I also want to automatically draw on the Images frame by frame such as, detecting faces and boxing them with green squares.

However, I am not sure where to get started and which applications should I choose?

Image analysis is better handled with opencv. You can integrate opencv with a QT interface, but that's secondary to the task as you've described it.

Hello. I will use OPENCV framework with QT. QT is mainly for GUI. Hence, a widget application will suffice?

Yes, unless you target mobile devices as well where QML is better.

@jsulm Alright. Noted. on that. I will just follow tutorials online and see if I managed to create a QT application. Thanks.
