Some years ago - a patch was published for QSqlOCI driver to access a result set via a cursor. This is for Oracle database.

Is there an updated patch for QT 5.12 to provide a way to fetch data via a cursor?

    Thanks
    Mark

      Hi,

Do you have the reference to that earlier patch ?

Seems this should be a part of the basic driver...

          The link is now https://bugreports.qt.io/browse/QTBUG-166

The thing is that until recently, patches could only come through a gerrit contribution. So since it hasn't been done like that at that time, it hasn't likely been integrated yet.

Thanks - So it seems that some has tried to apply these changes to the 5.4.X version of Qt without much success.

This is still and outstanding issue...

Did you test that patch ? Does it work correctly ?
