You must not have any MSYS related stuff in your PATH - otherwise the build tools might pick them up (due to same name) and it will fail. You can see the problem already in your first output if I'm correct: "@C:/temp/qt6_min/qtbase/src/3rdparty/libjpeg/JpegPrivate_syncqt_args" - the forward slashes (but I might be wrong)

OK, I found the cause of the problem. Well, the problem is the right combination of codec, format and QMediaRecorder configuration. In the case of my systems, it turned out that they do not support WAV. Using AAC and a bitrate of 256kbit solved the problem. Previously I tried with AAC and 320kbit but the codec does not work with such a high bitrate and there was no error message.

I solved that. Do this steps:

Select the "Projects" tab on the left. In the left side panel, select the "Build Android APK" section. Scroll down to the "Build Steps" section and find the "Packaging" step. In the "Packaging" section, you should see a "Sign package" checkbox. Make sure it's checked. Configure "Signing Configuration" with required information such as keystore file path, keystore password, key alias and key password. If you don't already have a keystore file, you can create one using the java keytool. Click the "Apply" button to save your changes. Now try building your Android APK again by clicking on the green arrow icon (or using Ctrl + B) in the lower left corner of Qt Creator.

@Narutoblaze Since I recently burned my feathers, I strongly advise you not to try to go against how the automatisms and things in general have been built, especially if it's just because you're used to doing it in a certain way.

Use the signals available, use installEventFilter, avoid complications just to look cool, simplify the goals.

You'll do the cool stuff in the future, after you get used to it.

@JohnKS Wow, I just spent like an hour trying to figure this out and copying detailed tutorials verbatim to try and get it working and it's this non-default flag that apparently doesn't always need to be set seeing as it doesn't appear anywhere in Qt's examples. It would be really helpful if this was mentioned more prominently somewhere.

The qt_standard_project_setup function doesn't set CMAKE_AUTORCC flag, only UIC and MOC. So you need to add:

set(CMAKE_AUTORCC ON)

before calling qt_add_executable.
