"Labs post":http://labs.qt.nokia.com/2011/06/21/introducing-meego-1-2-harmattan-to-the-qt-sdk/ with links to installers.

Otherwise the update is available through the sdk update mechanism.

Be warned though, the download is very slow. I'm sitting on just 7% after a good couple of hours of downloading :-/

Am still waiting for the specs of N9. The current link in Nokia website is broken.

                Apparently it's got an OMAP3630 @ 1GHz and PowerVR SGX530.

This is just from IRC, so no guarantees as to its accuracy

Seems good. Any idea if the N950 have the same specs.

Nokia N950 phone uses same hardware components as the Nokia N9 phone
                    with the following exceptions:

                    • N950 is physically larger and is made out of aluminum, whereas N9 has
                      a polycarbonate unibody.
                    • N950 has a physical slide-out QWERTY keyboard. The N9 is a touchscreen
                      -only device.
                    • N950 has a 4” TFT LCD display whereas N9 has 3.9” AMOLED display.
Display resolution is same on both devices (854x480). Due to the use
of different display technologies, developers should avoid one pixel
with fonts and graphical objects with lines one pixel wide. Also avoid
the extensive use of bright colors, especially white, when developing
for OLED displays as this increases the power consumption (typical
                      for OLED displays).
                    • N950 has a different physical camera module than N9. Both camera
modules have very similar image quality (Carl Zeiss branding in N9)
and both modules support 8Mpix image mode.
                    • In the N950 the front facing camera is in top right corner and on N9
it is in the bottom right corner. The actual camera module is same.
                    • N950 supports Bluetooth version 2.1+EDR, whereas N9 supports
                      version 4.0
                    • N950 does not have support for NFC
                    • N9 has slightly more sensitive magnetometer and ALS
                    • N950 has 1320mAh battery, the N9 has 1450mAh battery

                    from the "release notes":http://www.developer.nokia.com/info/sw.nokia.com/id/3744886f-69c1-4544-8ad3-72b352b4a832/Nokia_N950_OneClickFlashers_Release_Notes.html

NFC should have been included in the developer device because it is a new feature worth exploiting and AMOLED should be present in developer device too. How else will the developer check out display effects consistency. Every one knows that N9 is a experimental device and there will be no more device with the same OS so Nokia should give a better developer phone for this one-time , one -off development

To any one looking to download, I suggest download the complete SDK. The update is useless. It is not only slow, if - as it happened many times- it breaks for some reason, the next time update starts from the very beginning. It will frustrate you. Better download the full offline SDK .

                                Hello guys!

Very happy to find the first voices on N9 and Qt for meego! Dos anyone knows if the actual version is really useful to develop applications or not yet? I should prepare a simple but for N9 only demo application.

The latest Nokia SDK 1.1.2 can be used develop for N9. If you are a Qt- ambassador or a Nokia launch pad member, you may apply for getting N950 - the developer version of N9. Lucky few will get the Kit.

you could try out the Meego 1.2 Harmattan emulator. It looks like the real device.

Nice! I installed the offline installer on a windows 7 machine but I don't see in the emulator the N9. Now I am installing it on a ubuntu linux machine, ope that it works like for maemo with the emulator. I searched for the custom installation but I haven't seen any shade of the emulator... Now I search in-depth.

ok, I tried on ubuntu but the only emulator that I see has the well-know devices. No any N9emulator. Should it be installed apart ?
