After they added the "ssl.google.com" domain to the whitelist-filter, the built-in website search worked.

So is this the whole process or some other way to doing this ???
Yes, for now this is the only way. Usually i use free image hostings for that.

No, harder to change that I thought :/ I'll probably have to figure out how to add it only to user groups, but that seems like a bowl of spaghetti to me. Let's see if I have some time after the Contributors' Summit, that's eating my time right now :)

Yeah it is the same link (could it be different). As I said it works for me. When I try to click it when I'm not logged in it shows a register page.

:) No it's a proper bug and a hard one to figure out. It uses exactly the same code as the "latest threads page":http://qt-project.org/forums/new_topic_search but for some reason returns errors in the forum overview page.
Thanks for the tip, I got used to some forum features on other sites that are missing here. like a simple list of threads I am participating in and see if there are new replies for example.. :)
Tero's on the job :) You can add your ideas to http://qt-project.org/forums/viewthread/38227 This forum does show you which threads you've posted in. On the right, above "Docmarks", click on "_____ written posts". It doesn't show which ones have new replies per se, but when a thread gets a new reply it gets moved to the top of the list.

That was a weird one, no title and no content. I thought it was impossible to post like that.

Hmm... I think the best fix for this would be for the official documentation builder to spit out a map of classes/typedefs-to-URLs that this site can use. It's not sustainable to manually write exceptions each time new API is released.

Yes, it was reported a while back. It only shows up when there are no replies to a thread. It should show the date, but for some reason it decided to break (we haven't touched the code that does that) Really annoying bug to try and fix, as it has no apparent reason to pop up in the first place.

Old thread, but anyway... Sorry for not following up here regularly. Lots going on in the past month. It looks like the forum module used here comes with it's own registration page and api (now deleted), and those had never been switched off. I would say it has been a miracle that those had not been found earlier. There are now quite a lot of spam limiting measures in place. They take out machine generated spam pretty well, but if a human wants to spam, it's pretty much impossible to stop them.
