    @Chris-Kawa Sadly the cpp syntax highlighting is obviously broken on qt.io
    Looking at the C++ sample at highlightjs.org we see it's not close to working here. What we urgently need is a default Qt code customized highlight mode for these forums. Like they have over at qtcentre.org reading Qt code is so much easier over there.

    Just added a bug report to JIRA

    Apparently in the previous forum a similar error had been reported but this is already closed.

    You're welcome !

    Can you share the link to the report ? So if someone is interested, he/her will be able to more easily find it.

    You're welcome ! It's one of the first thing I search for :D

    Yes, the new version is really nice, and from what I know, a real pleasure to handle/maintain from a backend point of view compared to the software running the old site.

    @dojoy no worries.

    I can't see what could have caused the problem from the logs, so it remains a mystery (the kind of mystery I don't like).

    Hope you get answers to your questions and have a good time!

    @tekojo

    I concur as well. Especially at the moment you could understand flagging for moderation that someone with different experience shall have a look to the post.

    @tekojo Eventually there is a possibility with the "groups" which are not used yet.

    Yes, they are different, which annoyed me initially.
    Then when you just need to remove one post in the middle of a thread, the separation makes sense.

    Well, the forum is about getting help with Qt and finding answers.

    Venting once in a while is ok, how do we otherwise know where to concentrate our work :)

    I'll talk with our designer (who honestly is a bit overworked, and I try not to push too much work on him on top of what he already has) and see how we could improve the layout.

    Deleting topics seems to be limited to admin level.
    Next version has finer grain control on user rights.

    Will get fixed.

    It is a bit annoying, but recoverable at least. I thought that I am not the only one. Not sure if I have not reported this myself already.

    @koahnig there is a 3 minute timer on posting and editing for first users. Yes it's annoying when you make a typo, but very practical with spammers.

    "Mark Solved" under "Topic Tools" is not active yet.
    That is what confused. Hope that the new version will come out soon.

    Also worth mentioning here is that the site has an excellent mobile design. Works really well on the smart phones I've tried.

    Not that we're terribly mobile focused lately ;)
