is it possible for multiple users to chat with each others in a group chat on this forum?

@Wieland no, that isn't in the implementation. It's been a long discussion in the NodeBB project: https://github.com/NodeBB/NodeBB/issues/1798

tl;dr;
Original design can't handle it, and the developers haven't had enough time to redo the implementation.
