As you guessed already, you should not do duplicate postings. You are right that the other forum might be more suitable for your posting. I will move it.

Hi, I haven't tried it myself but maybe you can use this third party plugin:
"QtProjectTool":http://sourceforge.net/projects/qtprojecttool/
http://qt-project.org/forums/viewthread/25797/
You may have to write an adapter for your static analysis tool but it might save you some time.
Check this link:

They say the minimum level supported by Qt 5.x is API level 9 (Android 2.3.3).
Maybe you can try using Qt 4.8 for Android (Necessitas).
CMake basically ignores all settings done by QtC:-/
So, no. All you can do is tell cmake using the proper command line parameters what you actually want it to do. Not very convenient.
Thank you for your reply.
Being curious why I hadn't had the newest gdb version I took a look at the package - and it claimed to be 7.4. Indeed, one way or another the old 6.8 version was still in /usr/local/bin/gdb. Some application or another must have overwritten that one. I created a symlink to /usr/bin/gdb (7.4) and everything works fine now.
Thank you very much for your assistance. You saved my day ;-).
