I'm about 99% sure that QtQuick2 requires OpenGL ES as it uses a scenegraph and such - maybe someone else could back me up on this. If your hardware doesn't support it then you probably wont be able to use QtQuick2... You could try using QtQuick1 which I believe does not require opengl, or stick with widgets.... try this just to see if it works at all: http://qt-project.org/doc/qtcreator-2.6/creator-qml-application.html

As far as I know, the android emulator come with the packages do not support openGL yet. However, the emulator is extremely slow, much slower than real machine,try it with real machine if you have. Hi, IIRC (might be old so…) there was somewhere a configuration option for the emulator to activate OpenGL. It might be only available for the x86 emulator though. Hope it helps

There's also a patch waiting approval that will go in qtmacextras

Looks like Battery status stuff is missing here, though I am not sure. Anyway, feel free to add it || use native api ^_^

Hi Jeroen, thank you for this reponse. I'm currently just working on getting Qt5 to run on an embedded i386 target. I have been using the examples that Qt5 provides and I managed to change the size of the window in the code. regards Einar
