Qtcreator and clang code model

Did anyone get the clang code model working for an embedded project in QtCreator?
QtCreator runs on Ubuntu 16.04 64 bit, my target is an imx6 32 bit. I don't actually want to compile the code from QtCreator (I cross compile from command line with gcc), I just need the code analysis features.
It's even impossible to get the sysroot to clang, although I set it in "Kits". I tried so hard already. Nothing is working....
