Where is when building Qt with -no-framework on mac?

  • I'm creating an app and have built Qt with the configure option -no-framework to have dylib s instead of the default framework. My app is using QWebEngine and in order for it to run, I had to copy QtWebEngineProcess into my application bundle.
When the WebEngineProcess is started, it creates an ever-bounding supplemental application icon in the MacOS Dock. This could be prevented if the webengine process was a "full-blown" app with a plist. Any idea where that app was created in my case, or how I can go about "assembling" it myself from the QWebEngineProcess binary and the corresponding dylib s?

    I'm using Qt 5.9.2.
