Does anybody know the status of having java in QtWebkit? I found a setting, but the description in 4.7 says it all:

bq. QWebSettings::JavaEnabled: Enables or disables Java applets. Currently Java applets are not supported.

Whats in the queue? Where can I help? If anybody knows anything anywhere - please share :)

I don't find anything saying that Qt WebKit 2 (Qt5) will support Java.

A short suggestion: Just try it.

At least Qt4.8 supports Java, the description if this setting is wrong. As far as I know, also Qt4.7 supports Java.
