Been reading up on model/view and the QAbstractTableModel all day. I have a 2D array of doubles that will be read hundreds of thousands of times per second in an audio callback. I want to display this array for the user, in something like a TableView, but keep the data as doubles in a simple 2D array for speed of read/write. Is that possible? It seems like adding roles, QModelIndexes, and storing the data in QStandardItems will add unnecessary overhead in a real-time scenario. I find the whole thing pretty confusing though, so I might be worried about nothing.
