Hello everybody! I am now working on the backend of a multi-platform radio project. The backend is written in c/c++. My task is to find a way to connect to a remote Bluetooth device which will be able to control the backend with the basic audio control buttons: play, stop, next, previous, volume up, volume down. Right now I am studying BlueZ, which provides low level BT operations like: remote bluetooth device discover, sdp service discovery etc. but I could not find any relevant source for the AVRCP profile. My question are:

    1. Is there a way to do it with BlueZ in C?
    2. If no, what you would suggest me to do?
I am sorry if this sounds dumb, I am pretty new to this staff.

Hi! This is not the right forum for your question. I don't think anyone here can help you. Better try to contact the Bluez developers, see http://www.bluez.org/contact/.
