Unsolved Building to one iPad works, but to the other does not?

I have finished my Qt application.
I have been able to build it to my friends iPad 3 on his macBook using the provisioning profile from his xCode.
When I try to build it to my iPad Air, there is a yellow light that says "developer mode: off", where his has a green light that says "developer mode: on".
Sound familiar to anyone? Any easy fix you can come up with?
