Network Unavailable in QML with XMLHttpRequest

I have a strange issue. I am unable to get a network connection while debugging my app on one PC, which happens to be my primary dev machine. I get a network connection when I test on my Symbian device, but not when I use the desktop or Symbian Simulator. I also get a network connection when I take the same code and use it on another PC.

I m not sure where to start looking to troubleshoot this issue. I have already started a new project using Qt Creator and copied the QML & JavaScript files into the new project with the same results.

Any ideas?

I have the same problem, except that it works on the emulator on my PC but not on my device (Nokia E7). I always get http error 0 : /
