[SOLVED] Qt Creator – Cannot find External Tools
I downloaded the SDK yesterday and used Qt Creator for the first time.
I give the IDE two thumbs up, but I cannot find the external tools menu.
Qt Creator documentation explains:
You can change the configuration of preconfigured tools and configure additional tools in Qt Creator Options.
The documentation shows 4 tabs: General, Keyboard, External Tools, MIME Types
I'm using the LGPL Qt Creator 2.1.0 which only shows 2 tabs: General, Keyboard
I like to set up a handful of external tools like AStyle. Does the LGPL version of Qt Creator not have this feature, or am I missing something?
Windows XP Pro SP3
QtCreator 2.2 Beta has the 4 tabs you need.
Actually it is a new feature.
bq. If you have other tools that you regularly use when working with Qt Creator, you should have a look at the new “external tool” integration.
