    Hi there,
I already using Qt Creator 2.4.1 on my Desktop on Ubuntu system and everything is ok.
I wonder if i can install it on my netbook on witch i have Windows XP. I checked our forum
and i found out that there are problems with this installation. I don't know if the problems are fixed

So, has anybody install Qt Creator on Windows XP with succes?
and if so, witch version? and how?

    Thank you forward
    Kostis

      Yes i did.
Qt Creator 2.5 binary and from source
      Qt "Creator 2.7 binary":http://qt-project.org/downloads
for Windows XP sp2, sp3 and Windows 7.
What kind of issues do you have? Do you want install Qt Creator only? For windows if you beginner, better instal Qt binaries oficial installer with Qt Creator.

I have too, download the install file qxoz mentioned and click click ..next next ....done.I like to download the SDK package though so I don't have to go into the trouble of setting up compilers, the Qt SKD comes with Mingw ready for you to use on windows.
        Good luck.

musimbate: The Qt 5 packages for mingw come with Qt Creator and mingw included, too. They do leave out the rather big Nokia phone packages though.

            Thank you for your answers.

qxoz: I want to install Qt Creator with every package is needed to run (for desktop applications ... i don't care about phones).

When you say :"better install Qt binaries oficial installer with Qt Creator" what exactly do you mean? To download and run
the "Qt 5.0.2 for Windows 32-bit (MinGW 4.7, 650 MB)" of the page you gave me? Is this correct?(I writing in c++.. the others are Visual Studio i think)... or you mean the "Qt installer Framework 1.3.0" i found in the same page?

As you see i have no idea... Sorry...

musimbate: i didn't found any SDK in that page..
but i don't either want to set up compilers etc. i m not a fun of windows and i don't know what to do if i need to install C++ manualy...

Tobias Hunger: I suppose you say that the "Qt 5.0.2 for Windows 32-bit (MinGW 4.7, 650 MB)" is full and is ok for me

Finally it was not so difficult..

I just download and run the above file and everything is ok.

The only problem is that i have to make enough changes to my
code so it can run on windows.

              Thank you
