Does QT application should be supported by DRI(Direct Rendering Infrastructure)

My QT application is dead when running on linux.In fact,it is not dead ,but the Xorg takes 100% CPU usage.I check the /var/log/Xorg.0.log to find that DRI is disabling for /dev/dri/card* being absent.
So,my question is whether QT application is running normally without DRI supporting.or what is the real reason for the QT App not being running.
