How to add "new line" to tool tip?

I have added "\n" and ended up with "\n" , but no "new line " in tool tip.

you added double"\" in tooltip

If you use a plain text then simply
Remote bluetooth devices\nRed - not paired\nGreen - paired
If you use html (like you do in the picture), then use html - either explicit line break<br>or put each line in separate paragraph<p></p>.
