Hash verification while downloading failed

I got a plain new Windows 10 computer here, downloaded the
qt-unified-windows-x86-4.1.1-online.exe
and started installing...Neither
Qt 15.2
norQt 15.1
finished. Both failed when reaching 33% with the message
Hash verification while downloading failed. This is a temporary error, please retry
(Yes, I know there's another thread from 2018, but the solutions don't work anymore)

New QtC has just been released, maybe by chance you tried to download right when mirrors were updating or something. Try again now.

I think the message should be improved to avoid error reports like mine.

Checked the Qt bugtracker. There are already several reports about this, solved and unsolved ones. Looks like it depends on which mirror the installer chooses. There are workarounds to manually select a mirror here:
