Text cursors are an inconsistent width with non-integer scaling

When scaling in Windows (I haven't checked anything else) is set to 125% or 150% all my text cursors show in inconsistent sizes. I'm sure there's a simple way to set anti-aliasing on a cursor, but if there is I haven't been able to find it. It seems like that's all the problem is. How do I do that? I think I'm driving myself half mad here - all my attempts at googling it haven't found any sign that anyone has ever posted anything about this anywhere on the internet, but it seems like such an obvious problem and it looks awful.
Examples:
This is just in a standard QLineEdit with no styling, but anything that has a text cursor looks the same. Thanks for any help!
