EvaluateJavaScript only works in the main thread

I think this has to do with the fact that you're not supposed to modify any GUI elements from within another thread then the main thread. I don't know if your problem is caused by evaluateJavaScript() itself or by the way your using it outside of the main thread.

I'm facing the same problem.
I want to execute evaluateJavaScript in a separate thread as the execution time has major effect on the overall performance of my application. My JavaScripts takes about 500ms to finish and this can be noticed using the user interface in the meantime --> that is really annoying!!!Any ideas to solve that problem?
