    Hi all,

I'm having issue with update since yesterday in the UK (London). It seems that there is an issue with my local mirror. However the file seem accessible when I try to download it through my webbrowser. I tried yesterday and today again and still does the same. Any way to change the mirror?

I found a project on Github that used to allow the switch, but it seems not supported since QIF 3

I tried with a new fresh online installer from Qt website and it does the same:

    Qt_Installer_Network_Error_Connection_Closed.png

    Thank you for your help.

Unfortunately, the current official installer does not support switching mirrors.

Are you behind a proxy, by any chance?

If the issue persists, please report this to the Interest mailing list (you must subscribe first) and encourage the Qt Company to support mirror switching.

Hi, thank you for your answer. No I'm not behind a proxy.

I "solved" my issue by connecting to a VPN in another country, then the installer picked up another mirror and it worked.

I will mark the thread as "resolved", but it's not ideal, not everyone has access to a VPN in a different country. It will be great indeed that the Qt company support mirror switching.
