      Hi,

is there a way to sort the widgets in the widget box, where we drag it from to drop on the form. At the moment i have all my custom widgets in the bottom. This is a very painful scrolling!

      Please help.

      Thanks

Does it make sense to do a feature request?

Not sure. What would you like to sort on, exactly?

At the moment all my customized widgets are appearing in the bottom of the list, at least i would like to be able to have them on top instead of bottom.

I doubt a feature request like that would be picked up if you just request it. Perhaps if you submit a patch to make it happen, but even then I doubt it. Doesn't folding in the widget groups you don't need give enough space already? Or, perhaps, changing the view format?

Well, i just tried your approach to close all groups that we dont need and it is now sort of useable.

But to be really comfortable, we would like to have a sorting feature available.

Did you try to change the view format to icon view? That saves a lot of space in the list...

Yes, but i sort of require the names to identify them easily. Anyhow, your tip with closing the groups is already a acceptable solution.
Thank you very much for helping me.
