Get QImage from QML Camera element

Good day, everyone.
I'm doing some research with QML Camera element. For my purposes I have to do some manipulations with captured images (in C++ code). QML element Camera has slot onImageCaptured with preview argument that is url variable (in C++ code just QString). Trying to construct QImage from this url isn't successful.
Next attempt was to use QPixmapCache. I supposed that pixmap cache contains appropriate Image by key which is get from onImageCaptured url parameter. But it doesn't...
My question is: how to provide image captured by QML Camera element to C++ code to construct QImage?
