QT Creator Erroneuos Highlighting on Jetson Orin Nano Development Kit

I installed Qt Creator on Jetson Orin Nano running Ubunto 20.04 focal using the command
sudo apt-get install qt5-default qtcreator -y
It comes up nicely with all the C++ and C compiler pointing to the right place.
I can compile and run the programs without any issues.
But I cannot get rid of the erroneous highlighting of text as shown in the attached images.
Please advise as I have tried messing with the Display options without avail.
