Hello, I´m not a programmer, I´m a user of programs which work with QT. I have a great problem with the speed of the implementation of QT in the AutoDESK Visualisation program 3dStudio MAX. QT was implemented for a lot (if not all) dialog windows in the GUI. Inside 3dsMAX itself all works with normal speed. But a 3rd party render program called VRay, which is also forced to use QT by AutoDESK has a great problem with speed of working inside dialog windows. I bought a brand new computer (Ryzen 9 5900x) to solve the speed problem, but it still exists. The support of ChaosGroup, the developer of VRay suggested me to set two Windows 10 system variables. They are "QT_OPENGL=Angle" and "QT_ANGLE_PLATFORM=d3d9". This gave some improvement with my old workstation. With the new workstation I have no improvements. Can somebody give me some tips how I can improve speed of dialog window creation. Would interesting for other users of VRay too. ChaosGroup is also working on this, but the latest hotfix of VRay also gave no improvements. Thanks!
