I am running Ubuntu 10.10 and I had struggles installing Qt from downloadable binaries so I installed using "sudo apt-get install qt-creator." Now the Design tab for QML is not selectable. How can I upgrade qt-creator to include this?

Have you enabled QmlDesigner option in Help -> About plugins ?

Designer (2.0.1) underneath Qt Creator is checked.

I'd suggest to use Creator 2.1 RC1 - it is pretty stable, I do not have any problems with in on my daily work.

I would love to but I can't: http://developer.qt.nokia.com/forums/viewthread/2991/
Is there any non-command line way to install?
