    Hi all,

Is there gonna be another maintenance release for the 4.8.x series to support Mac OS X 10.9 Mavericks (like macros updates, etc.)? Because there are still some things I feel there are missing or hard to integrate with Qt 5.x that I have for free on 4.8 (like mac extras).

Also my code base is pretty much for 4.8, I'd have to make A LOT of changes to migrate to Qt 5.

    Thanks

Qt 4.8.5 is going to be released soon after Qt 5.1. I can't find any Mavericks-related commits in there, but that may be because it's so new.

      "Qt 4.8.5 on Jira":https://bugreports.qt-project.org/browse/QTBUG/fixforversion/12505#selectedTab=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.project:version-issues-panel.

There certainly are a few bugs, and I mean severe bugs, in both Qt 4.8.4 and Qt 5.1 rc1 on the current developer preview version of Mac OS X 10.9. I hope they will be resolved ASAP...

Be sure to report them if they are not known already.

Yep, I guess I'll have to see if they're known or not.

              Can you mention them please?

Just in case, so that sierdzio is aware of them, and being an "Area 51 Engineer" he's a lot more aware and capable on how to submit and track Qt bugs.

And getting those fixed will benefit the whole community

I can report the bugs for you, yeah. It's not hard, though, Jira is easy to use (just remember to describe the issue as good as possible, so that the developers can get straight to work without lengthy discussions about the problem).
