sierdzio is correct. Something in the Mac package that isn't working. (sorry don't have the bug number) No exact date given, because the beta will be out once the bug is gone. Any day now I hope.

The documentation is licensed under the "GNU Free Documentation License":http://qt-project.org/doc/qt-5/fdl.html (FDL) This in my understanding includes the images. I personally am not familiar enough to say what you can do under the FDL, so best read it through and act accordingly.

Right. I've installed this plugin some time ago and completely forgot about it. Thank you JKSH This thread will remind me that I have installed the plugin when I will wonder about this button again. :-)

Thank you for the reply. I've created bug report QTBUG-40800. Until the bug can be addressed, can someone please create a doc note on the page?

(Frustrated rant about having to sign up just to discover I can't even comment without getting site-specific UselessInternetPoints removed). I've filed a bug in JIRA, since I can actually do that without first having to go spam random forums / vote-up random pages. https://bugreports.qt-project.org/browse/QTBUG-40586#comment-251940 Please link to that from http://qt-project.org/doc/qt-4.8/qsqlerror.html with a note along the lines of: "Application developers should generally avoid directly parsing error messages, as they may vary based on locale, database system version, etc. Usually the framework would offer access to the underlying database's standard SQLSTATE error code but QSQLError does not present this information at time of writing. A future revision of the QSQLError class may hopefully address this issue. In the mean time application developers should not attempt to differentiate between error types, such as "serialization failure" or "column does not exist", beyond the information provided by the type() method.".

Just to throw another forum platform candidate into the mix: "Discourse":http://www.discourse.org/about/ is an ambitious project that redesigned forum software (which they call "discussion software") from the ground up. It's founded by the co-founder of StackOverflow and is "[i]nspired by the reputation/badge/governance ideas and concepts behind Stack Exchange", so I have high expectations for this product. It's very new though, and I'm not sure if it is interoperable enough yet with the other platforms that the Qt Project website will need.

Unless you have any indication that the Qt downloads really contain malware, which we can be pretty sure they don't, this clearly is a bug in Chrome and only the Chrome developers can fix it. The Qt devs probably cannot do anything. So-called "anti virus" software can be a major annoyance for software developers. Believe me, I know what I'm talking about. I get like a dozen e-mails from angry people complaining that my software contains malware every single week - just because their "anti virus" program triggered a FALSE POSITIVE. Usually these people are quiet very quickly when I tell them to re-check the file at VirusTotal and they notice that 49 out of 50 anti-virus scanners confirm that the file is clean...
